MARTIN LUTHER AND SOME OCTOBER CREATIONS

God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also
on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars.
...
Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to
pieces, I would still plant my apple tree.

~ Martin Luther

October 31, 2017 was the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's posting of the 95 Theses. Having discovered this sometime in 2017, from that time I became interested in studying in greater depth the doctrine of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ and not by works.

I will post some notes from my studies on October 31, 2018, and would highly recommend this activity to anyone. There is nothing like writing, searching and pondering over thoughts and questions that come to mind, to really understand and internalize the word of God.

For me October will never be the same, as I recall this very important event of the bloody protestant reformation war that preceded the birth of a new nation conceived in religious liberty and the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 6, 1830.

And ... here are some October creations made on a knitting loom. This is a fun activity to do while watching Netflix in the evening. Hope you like them!
